Approximately eighty of our Year 11 pupils participated in a great live session yesterday run by the National Citizen Service facilitated by Pompey in the Community.  The theme of the session was 'Making Every Day Count'.  The pupils looked back at what they have achieved so far and reflected on this.  They then thought about setting new goals and their future aspirations.  This was part of a day of Personal Development Learning sessions overseen by Mr Lomas and Mrs Goldsmith.

Also, Mrs Byerely (with Mr Lomas and Mrs Mandrill in support) ran live sessions with our Year 8 pupils about self esteem with sessions on social media and kindness to follow.

Hampshire Police will be working with all of our Year 10 pupils next week building on today's live lessons from Mrs Mandrill on 'gangs' and we look forward to welcoming (virtually) other guests in the coming weeks.

Thank you to Pompey in the Community for giving up your time to speak with our pupils yesterday.
