On Thursday 14th October children in year 5 and 6 came to visit Springfield with their parents to see whether our school is right for them. There were a numerous amount of different activities, demonstrations and perfomances going on in different places around the school site. In the main hall different pupils from different years performed various different dance routines to the audience including:year 7 performing-5,6,7,8 and year 8 performing- a bollywood routine. There was also many other routines like a tap dance performance. Many of the routines that were performed were taught to the pupils in their PE lessons and they had to adapt it to fit with the music. Overall all the performances were very much enjoyed by the audience and the dancers all had a great time perorming them.

There has been an idea for a new Pupil Blog where a selected group of pupils can display current events happening around the school. This could be about school trips, or after school clubs or things like the Year 8 HPV jabs a few days ago. Keep checking the school homepage for more information on the subject.
