Last Thursday, Parents and children from year 5 and 6 came in their hundreds to visit Springfield school, to see if it was right for their children to go to. In the Main Hall, a number of gym routines were performed by the school gymnastics club. First there were solo, duo and trio routines between them, to their choice of music. They then demonstrated a floor work routine, that was performed by the whole club, then followed by a trampet performance. Their leotards were red, yellow and black, worn with either leggins or shorts. The routines by the whole club were choreographed by Miss Burford and Mrs Argyll, and the individual routines were choreographed by the club attenders themselves.

There has been an idea for a new Pupil Blog where a selected group of pupils can display current events happening around the school. This could be about school trips, or after school clubs or things like the Year 8 HPV jabs a few days ago. Keep checking the school homepage for more information on the subject. Also on the school homepage, you can find polls about the Pupil Blog where you can also have your say as to what goes on the Pupil Blog. |
