Headteacher's WELCOME

Thank you for taking the time to visit Springfield’s website.

We are a vibrant and inclusive school community with over 1100 students on roll. Our school has an established history of excellent practice, strong pastoral care and high expectations.  We aim to work closely with our different stakeholders to ensure that each and every student who comes through our door gets the very best opportunities that will set them on the path for an exciting, successful and fulfilling future.

Enjoy the website.  If you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Students' WELCOME

At Springfield, we have an enriched academic culture, as well as extracurricular activities and opportunities outside of school. Students are encouraged to work hard in a wide range of subjects and discover their own passions and interests through programmes such as the Brilliant Club, The Council of Portsmouth Students and the Girls' Network. The school also offers brilliant sport clubs using our amazing facilities including the tennis courts, fitness suite and sports halls. Overall, Springfield has a very supportive community and engaging teachers willing to offer their time and effort to help students.

"Although I'm in my first year, it has been an amazing experience so far.  The staff are very kind and are willing to help if you are struggling.  At Springfield there are many different opportunities to take part in, including trips and after school clubs which are open to all year groups and a great way to make new friends."
