GCSE Results 2026

We were delighted to congratulate our Year 11 students on their fantastic achievements in 2025/26.  Students' efforts, supported by our staff and their families, led to positive academic progress across a variety of subjects.  

The school’s provisional results indicate some excellent individual achievements and a sound performance by the cohort as a whole:

●       Over 70% of students secured a grade 4 or higher in GCSE English, and 70% of students secured a grade 4 or higher in GCSE Mathematics; a sound 62% of students achieved a grade 4 or higher in both. 

●       High-Achieving Results – a total of 320 grades achieved by our students were at the higher level of grades 7 to 9; and well over two thirds of all grades were grade 4 or higher. 

●       Excellent results were achieved in several departments, including Music with a 100% pass rate at grade 4 or above, Biology at 99% grade 4 or above, and German at 94% grade 4 or above. 

●       An impressive 79% of the students taking Further Mathematics secured a grade 5 or higher in this advanced option.

●       The school’s overall Attainment 8 score has risen by 1.7 points since last year, indicating steady school-wide improvement across the curriculum.

●       GCSE Statistics - 100% of Year 10 students achieved a grade 4 or above.
